Gender: Male
Age: 10-13 (Ages throughout the series)
Zodiac Animal: None
Relationships: Brother of Saki Hanajima. Also friends of Tohru and Arisa. In the 20-somethingish episode of the anime he scares the yuki fan club from his house by threatening to curse them. As far as i know he has not met the sohmas, although he has most likely heard of them.
Physical Appearence: Short, Identical to Saki, Wears completely Black.
Personality: Speaks in a monotonous voice like saki and has the ability to curse anyone by simply knowing their name. He trained this ability and is very skilled at it. He is usually quiet and very observant. His relationship with Hana seems to be indifferent, however they are in fact tuned into each other's feelings. He tends to judge people before knowing them, such as he did with Tohru. Eventually he accepted her and "allowed" her to walk with him and his sister on the way to school. He now cares for tohru. He doesn't seem to be liked by other people since he lives in a closet.
Character Goals: His main goal is to assist his sister in protecting tohru. I would like to bring his past into light and show the good and bad sides of his personality.
History: Not much of his history is known.
I would like to play as megumi because i admired his calm and collective attitude in the fruits basket anime and i am looking forward to finding more about him in the manga. I feel that i am fit to play megumi because i have done rps on other web sites before and i love writing stories.
Sample Role Play: Megumi opened his eyes. There was light pouring in through his bedroom door. He got up and got dressed. The usual black which he and his sister wore, a way of hiding from the outside world. Saki seemed to be doing better in the more recent days, because of one girl, tohru honda. Tohru's mother had passed away in a car accident a few years back. It was tohru's mother that provided a sanctuary to saki. She could be herself around Tohru and her mother, and not be made fun of. Now she was respected in the school. He didn't understand why people had to make fun or be afraid of their gifts, but he kept these feelings to himself.
Suddenly Megumi realized he was hungry. He got up and went down the stairs. In the kitchen, he noticed a note quickly scribbled in his sister's handwriting. “Gone out with tohru to do some shopping for school. Be back at around 4.” It had been almost a month before the yuki fan club girl incident, and most likely the curse had worn off by now. It made him feel good inside thinking about those fan club girls suffering for their flagrancy of names while in the hanajima house, even though saki had told him later on that she warned them not to use their names. He took his favorite food, odango, from the refrigerator. The taste was very enjoyable.
He realized that he didn't have much to do today, since it was a Saturday and there was no school. He guessed that staying home and doing nothing was better than going shopping with tohru and saki. He didn't need any more black clothes. Megumi thought of the Sohma Family. Tohru had been staying with them for a while, and it was only a few months ago that she told saki and arisa about it. Saki had told him that she sensed disturbing waves from their presence, but megumi figured that she knew more than she was letting on.
